Blogging 101:
Hello music followers. With all the technology in the world, iPhones, PS3's, stuffed crust pizza, and black President, TFOX has NEVER blogged before. So I struggle to come up with things to talk about. Hence me rambling about nonsense that no one really cares about. With a brand new baby girl in the house, I didn't want her to start to blog before I did. Gotta git hip!
New things are on the horizon. New albums, new collabs, and new music in general. I'm very excited about the future, and pray that I'll be here to see it. Gotta take it day by day, ya know. Everyday is something new and you just have to embrace every moment. Just something I learned from pops. He's my hero!
Awaiting the release of the new album has been exciting and stressful. We have to dot the i's and cross the t's....know what I mean vern?!?!?! I'm anxious to see what reactions I get from this particular opus. Hopefully, it will all be good, but you have to absorb the not so good. That's how we grow (more pops).
Oh...tidbits on the new album. It's entitled The Great Junction (if you didn't know). The Great Junction is the collective of all people, places and spaces. It's the sun...the moon...the stars. It's the blood that runs through ALL of our veins. The last time I checked I don't think any of us has green or yellow blood. It's a bit of death, tragedy....and also some life and comedy. Oh, and we can't forget about the love. Especially since I'm a VA native (shout out to JLaine....VA is for lovers). It's my synopsis on life. If we all put our best foot forward, we can achieve a greater junction. Somebody just shouted: "Hey TFOX, what if you have to left feet?" Hmm, I'm not really sure. You can try putting them both forward, but just make sure you're sitting down. The Great Junction is a collective that I hope everyone will enjoy and least knock your head too. And if you find a personal connection to it.....hey, that's more than I ever hoped for. Until then, I'll see ya'll on the next blog spot.
