DJ Jamad: 10 years deep.
There aren't a lot of DJs who can spin for ten years and still bring it every time. DJ Jamad dominated the last decade, and is still one of the most relevant DJs doing it today. Over 50 releases. Hundreds of remixes, rare grooves, exclusives, collaborations, drops, shouts, and experiments. Congratulations, Jamad, on ten years of dope mixes.
If you wondered where we’ve been, we’ve been making moves for the past few months. It’s a new year, and we’ve got a slew of new releases, some new talent, and we’re executing some fresh ideas. For starters, DJ Jamad is releasing Q4’s In The Mood mixes almost back to back (to back to back). Panacea’s K-Murdock is releasing his new album, Piano-Rama, in January. We’re finally debuting the much anticipated albums from Antithesis, TFOX, and Frequency Benders Incorporated.
USB Cards
Later in the year, we have releases from Next.Time.Gadget, Mono/Poly, and, you heard it here first, AFROMENTALS 25.
Something new you'll find immediately is many new releases will be physically released on USB Cards instead of CDs. Why? Because it’s 2010, and it’s time to move on. USB card releases will contain 320kbs MP3s of the albums plus exclusive tracks, live performances, interviews, behind the scenes & studio videos, wallpapers for your computers and phone, artist commentary, and all kinds of other ridiculous "ish". Yea, we’re excited, too.
